CASA VINICOLA MONTOBBIO

The Wine House Montobbio, of winemakers Armando and Aurelio, was founded in 1980 when the twins owners graduated from the Wine School of Alba in Italy and decided to continue the business of the father and both grandfathers. The company is located in the heart of Monferrato, in Castelletto d’Orba, a charming village in the province of Alessandria, a wine-growing area of the Italian region of Piedmont. Castelletto d’Orba is a few kilometers from the most famous and popular town of Gavi; it is a small village which, thanks to the temperate climate and the water resources of the land, has always been particularly suitable for the cultivation of the vine and the production of high quality wines.
The constant intent of the company is to combine the oenological practices necessary to quality with the respect of the wine tradition. The range of wines is varied and the vinification of grapes from local vines is preferred. The wines are produced in limited quantities; they do not exceed 7,000 bottles (50 hl) for each type of wine.
