Riseria Magisa is the only rice maker in the south of Italy. It was founded in 2004. It is a new business concept based in Calabria, with 300 hectares of rice fields and a factory used for processing . Operating to reach a single goal to cultivate the best Italian rice. The soils the plain of Sibari enhances the organoleptic qualities of rice and they produce using only artisanal methods ie without using insecticides and chemicals fertilisers during the production. Magisa cultivates Abrorio, Originario and organic Canaroli rices which are all ideal for risotto, and the also producer rice flour and rice crackers.
