Azienda Agricola Fratelli Ferrari is a family owned estate and winemaker located in OLIVA GESSI in the province of Pavia, right in the heart of a region called Oltrepò Pavese “beyond the Pò river”. A hilly area between Emilia Romagna and Lombardy that dedicated itself to the production of high quality and often little known sparking wines; one of them being the Bonarda wine. Fratelli Ferrari cultivate Croatina, Barbera, Uva Rara, Pinot Noir, Riesling Italico and Muscat grapes. With a century of experience as winemakers they have been producing DOC certified Oltrepò Pavese wines with passion and dedication.
The company has been focussing to the Italian demanding market producing the best quality, and now they are looking to expand the business abroad. Their aim is to sell to the catering industry, hotel, small independent niche shops looking for quality. This producer is also interested in selling smaller quantities directly to member of the public. At present target markets are the UK, France, Germany, USA, Canada, Japan and Australia.
